Chocolate chip Cream cheese cookies (clean and easy)

If you haven't noticed, I like to eat healthy, but have an arsenal of things I can whip up on a minutes notice. I kept seeing these all over Facebook and decided to give them a shot. The cookies take about 2 1/2 hours total from start to finish, but less than 5 minutes of actual prep time (they spend about 2 hours in the freezer and 15 minutes-ish cooking). my final result, as you can see, ended up more like little pastries, but were delicious!

What you need:
1 pkg Refrigerated Crescent roll dough
1 8 oz. Pkg Cream Cheese
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
Chocolate chips, PB chips, Whatever you are feeling at the minute :)

What to do:

1.Mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl

2. Roll out dough on a floured surface (I love keeping flour in a grated cheese can for this purpose) pinch all the seams together and roll flat with a rolling pin.

3. Spread filling mix over dough, leaving about 1 inch at the end plain. sprinkle chips over dough and roll into a log.

4. Wrap cookie dough log with plastic wrap and place in freezer for 2 hours

5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut cookie dough into 1'' slices and place cookies on cookie sheet (lining with parchment paper help with cleanup, but I'm a rebel today). Bake for 12-15 minutes until brown
